The Approach

Through an innovation challenge initiative, entrepreneurs, startups, academics, and technical specialists were invited to engage directly with real industry challenges sponsored by ExxonMobil. Participants had the opportunity to contribute ideas, develop approaches, and demonstrate capabilities against problems involving optical character recognition, natural language processing, and data classification.

Community interest quickly exceeded expectations as participants connected around shared challenges and explored new ways to apply their knowledge and expertise. Xrathus DXP provided the shared environment where participants could access challenge resources, collaborate with others, engage in contextual discussions, and contribute solutions throughout the challenge lifecycle.

Outcomes

By bringing together diverse perspectives around real-world problems, the initiative created opportunities for innovators to demonstrate capabilities, build relationships, and contribute to solutions that mattered.
